Dan Biron is running for mayor of Jerusalem on the Green Leaf Party ticket
Dan Biron, a veteran television director with Channel 1, yesterday announced he is running for mayor of Jerusalem on the Green Leaf Party (Ale Yarok) ticket. Biron officially presented the list to the elections commission yesterday, making him the first candidate to do so. The rest are expected to so today.

Green Leaf Party Expresses Support for Attorney General
Against the continued attacks on the Attorney General, State Comptroller and government clerks, who are uncovering the unbelievable extent of government corruption, The Green Leaf Party would like to express unequivocal support of their actions in restraining those at the helm of power. In addition, the party would like to express its bewilderment over the words of Prof. Amnon Rubinstein, in the last few months, and would like to remind the public that there are those, who see Rubinstein as a worthy candidate for the Presidency, so that his motives should be questioned, as it is the members of parliament, who choose the President.
